Formation requires action.  The Lovesong of J. Alfred Prufrock remains one of my favorite poems.  Considered T.S. Eliot’s first masterpiece, Prufrock is about a man who cannot act.  There is a chilling line in the poem where he says:

Off To A Great Start!

Returning God’s Gifts 2014 has been active for about one month and parishioners have been very generous!  So far, almost 5,000 households have made gift intentions of $1,427,133!  A special thanks to everybody who has participated in Returning God’s Gifts 2014.

As 2013 winds down, I'd like to report on the year's Returning God's Gifts Appeal, as of December 18, 2013:

Total Intentions: $2,251,549
Total Received: $2,141,383

Returning God’s Gifts 2014 will begin during the weekend of February 1.
