Welcome to the Office of Stewardship and Development.
The USCCB's Pastoral Letter
Stewardship: A Disciple's Response says:
Becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ leads naturally to the practice of
Stewardship. These linked realities, discipleship and stewardship, then
make up the fabric of a Christian life in which each day is lived in an
intimate, personal relationship with the Lord.
Disciple's Response (2002), p.14
Everything we have, everything we are, everything are gifts from God. As stewards of those gifts, we are called to return a portion of our time, talent and treasure in gratitude for God’s great abundance. The Diocese of Colorado Springs—with its parishes, offices, schools and outreach ministries—has numerous volunteer opportunities and many avenues to give of your financial resources. To volunteer your time and talent, please contact your parish or school directly.
The Office of Stewardship and Development provides guidance and support to parishes, schools and others ministries in the Diocese in the areas of stewardship and development programs. Stewardship is an essential element in the spirituality of a parish and the office is a source of support for programs designed to teach Stewardship as a way of life - a Disciple’s response.
