COLORADO SPRINGS. The Tribunal of the Diocese of Colorado Springs, in partnership with the Office of Total Catholic Education, will present a five-part series on various topics relating to canon law and annulments. The talks will be held Tuesday evenings at St. Patrick Parish from 7-8:30 p.m. beginning Aug. 21.

The first class will cover the essential character of marriage and canon law.

The second class will discuss the purpose of the diocesan Tribunal.

The third class will be a presentation on grounds for invalidity.

The fourth class will cover canonical processes (canons 1400-1716).

The fifth class will be a presentation on dissolution cases (canons 1141-1150).

The talks are open to all; those who are involved in adult formation programs — especially RCIA and marriage preparation — are highly encouraged to attend. For more information, contact Nicholas Dillon at ndillon@diocs.org.
