STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The purpose of St. Mary’s High School is to provide a learning environment that will prepare young people to successfully meet life’s challenges with moral direction.

MISSION STATEMENT

St. Mary’s High School is an academic community modeled on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ and the living Tradition of the Catholic Church.

• This community challenges and empowers students to Grow in mind, body, and spirit, respecting the dignity of all.
• Master the skills and knowledge for the next phase of their development, primarily a college education.
• Become responsible, ethical decision-makers in a diverse, complex world.

St. Mary’s High School is the only Catholic High School in the Diocese. It is not a diocesan school, but a private school. The Diocese oversees the religion portion of the curriculum.
