Romans 12:4-6
For as in one body we have many parts, and all the parts do not have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ and individually parts of one another. Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us exercise them …
--Our Chaplain and Board are the HEAD, to lead and plan;
--VOCATIONS and PROGRAMS are the ARMS, since these two embrace our 3 goals/purposes. The Serra Mission:
To Foster, Promote and Affirm Vocations to the Priesthood, Diaconate and Religious Life, and through this ministry further our members’ Catholic faith.
--MEMBERSHIP and COMMUNICATIONS are the LEGS, since they support everything we do.
On Thursday, Nov 16, we will have Mass at 12 noon, followed by PIZZA Lunch and gathering at 12:30pm. Please RSVP by email (SerraCOSprings@dioCS.net) or call (Beth at 806-789-9002).
Some members are already involved in a ministry or have a preference, so when you RSVP for the lunch, let us know and you will be seated with the group you are helping or wish to help. Or you can choose a ministry when you arrive! Please RSVP by Monday, Nov 13!
