Relics of Padre Pio will visit diocese in November

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. Relics of St. Pio of Pietrelcina, who received the stigmata (wounds of Christ’s passion), will be displayed for public veneration on Nov. 3 from 10 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral. Bishop Michael Sheridan will celebrate Mass at 9 a.m. The relics include St. Pio’s glove, hair, crusts from his wounds and other items used by him.
