"God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Corinthians 9:7).
All followers of Jesus Christ are called to give thanks to God for our gifts and talents, and to pass on that generosity to others.
The lifestyle of Christian stewardship involves intentional, planned, and proportionate giving of our time, talent, and treasure. There are many options when it comes to giving. With thoughtful giving you may plan for your future while having a positive impact on the mission of the Catholic Church in Central Colorado. Below are some resources you may need in your planning.
The Diocese of Colorado Springs is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code. All gifts (cash and check) intended for year-end giving must be received by the Diocese of Colorado Springs or postmarked by December 31. Gifts received after this date will receive the following year tax credit.
Donations may be mailed to the Diocese of Colorado Springs at 228 N. Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. Please make your check payable to Diocese of Colorado Springs.
Since 2004, Returning God’s Gifts Diocesan Ministry Appeal has provided millions of dollars towards wonderful works of charity, education and formation thanks to your continued support for the four core areas of Returning God’s Gifts Annual Appeal: charity, clergy formation, Catholic education, and parish support.

The mission of the Respect Life Apostolate is to spread the "good news" to the people of Southern Colorado through prayer, education, and action so that we might help support marriages, families, and build a culture of life in our diocese and beyond. Each year the money raised at the Bishop’s Respect Life Dinner has supported pro-life activities and education. Thank you for your prayerful consideration of your donation.
Special collections are taken up in the diocese throughout the year. Promotion and publication of these collections are coordinated through the Bishop’s Office. These collections meet the needs of several programs in the diocese, the Church in the U.S. and the universal Church. For more information please contact the Bishop’s Office.
