Longest Married Couple nominations now open

COLORADO SPRINGS. Worldwide Marriage Encounter is seeking nominations for its Longest Married Couple Project. Nominations can come from family members or friends of couples and will be accepted until Sept. 15. Sacred Heart Parish celebrates the past, looks to the future

COLORADO SPRINGS. About 1,000 people attended a three-day event marking the 100th anniversary of Sacred Heart Parish in Colorado Springs.

The event kicked off July 15 with celebrants taking advantage of the food trucks offering an assortment of cultural dishes. Craig’s Fusion Mobile Restaurant provided an assortment of Venezuelan cuisine and Papa Bear’z Grill Restaurant, a taste of America. Wicked Good Ice Cream catered to those seeking a sweet tooth fix.

Apple, Amazon, AT&T, Chase, Comcast, Hewlett-Packard, Ikea, Kroger, Lyft, Macy’s, MasterCard, Microsoft, Nordstrom, Starbucks, Target, Uber, and Walt Disney are among a growing list of companies that pay for their employees to travel for an abortion. The culture of death, which has taken over much of our education system, is firmly implanted in corporate America.  Now, more than ever, we need Catholic leaders to bring the Gospel message to the workplace — this is the mission of Legatus.
