Article overlooked brothers

Your recent article on the influence of religious influence in our Catholic schools (Herald Feb. 3 issue) was enlightening but it did not address the brothers that also teach in the many Catholics  schools throughout our country.

I attended Norte Dame High School in West Haven, Conn., and received an outstanding education from the Brother of Holy Cross. They were instrumental in helping me build a sound Catholic foundation that has carried me throughout my life.

So, when we think and talk about religious we must not forget the importance of the brothers from the many different orders that have also impacted on the lives of so many.
