Religious Liberty Forum will be held September 25 at Holy Apostles Church
COLORADO SPRINGS. A forum on religious freedom titled “Religious Liberty: Now and Forever” will take place on Sept. 25 at 6:30 p.m. at Holy Apostles Parish. The event is sponsored by the Colorado Catholic Conference and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Attorney Steven Collis, a religious freedom specialist for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will give a talk titled “What is religious liberty?” Collis is an adjunct professor of religious liberty law at the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law and chairs the religious institutions and first amendment practice group at Holland & Hart.
Jennifer Kraska, executive director of the Colorado Catholic Conference, will speak on “Religious liberty — what can we do to defend it?” Following the speaker presentations, there will be an opportunity for audience members to ask questions.
