Catholic Daughters institute new court in Woodland Park

WOODLAND PARK. The Catholic Daughters of the Americas, a national organization of Catholic women, instituted Court Our Lady of Peace No. 2728 at Our Lady of the Woods Parish in Woodland Park on Jan. 14.

State regent Bonnie Valcik instituted the court and Father Timothy Corbley, I.V. Dei, court chaplain, installed the new officers. Beverly Jopek is Treasurer, Carol Ashurst is Financial Secretary and Rose Long is Recording Secretary. 

Meetings are held at Our Lady of the Woods, 116 S. West St., on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. from September through June. For more information, contact Julie Hatch at mtnmamajulie@yahoo.com or visit www.catholicdaughterscolorado.org.

Father Nathaniel Hinds, parochial vicar at St. Paul Parish, will serve as the organization’s state chaplain beginning in June.
