Veronica Ambuul / Monday, March 30, 2026 / Categories: Diocesan News Father Kyle Ingels Named Diocesan Administrator COLORADO SPRINGS. On March 26, the College of Consultors of the Diocese of Colorado Springs elected Father Kyle Ingels as diocesan administrator. When the see of a diocese is vacant, the Catholic Church's canon law allows for an administrator to be chosen from among the members of the college. The role of a priest administrator is to maintain the diocese in the proper direction until the pope appoints a new bishop. Father Ingels currently serves as Director of Vocations and previously held the title of Vicar General. He also hosts a weekly podcast, The Summit, which can be found at The Summit with Father Kyle Ingels. Please join us in praying for Father Ingels and the future Bishop of Colorado Springs.
