COLORADO SPRINGS. The St. Cecilia Schola Children’s Choir, under the direction of Eliana Murphy-Ellis, will perform “Malice in the Palace: the Story of Esther” March 3-5 in the Corpus Christi school gym. On March 3, there will be shows at 1:45 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. On March 4, there will be a show at 6:30 p.m. On March 5, the show will be performed at 12:30 p.m. Admission is free.

COLORADO SPRINGS. The 2017 Notre Dame Hesburgh Lecture, sponsored by the Notre Dame Club of Colorado Springs, will take place April 6 at 7 p.m. at Marian House soup kitchen, 14 W. Bijou St. The featured speaker will be Notre Dame economics professor James Sullivan. SECURITY. A memorial Mass for Father Bill Carmody will take place Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. at St. Dominic Parish in Security. Father Carmody, former pastor of St. Dominic and director of the diocesan Respect Life Office, died Feb. 23, 2016. Light refreshments and drinks will be served after the Mass.
