COLORADO SPRINGS. Praying the Rosary with volunteers is providing local seniors with companionship, spiritual nourishment and a renewed sense of purpose.

The Rosary Team, a nonprofit organization founded in 2019 in the Archdiocese of Denver, is a group of people who pray the rosary in pairs in senior care facilities. Volunteers provide companionship and prayer in the resident’s final years of life.

COLORADO SPRINGS. Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court No. 2728 in Woodland Park received the Father Bill Carmody Pro-Life Award during the organization’s state workshop June 28-30 at Franciscan Retreat Center.

INDIANAPOLIS. If there was a common thread running through the talks given during the National Eucharistic Congress July 17-21, it was that the massive gathering and the events leading up to it were meant to have a lasting impact on parishes and dioceses back home.

COLORADO SPRINGS. The Diocese of Colorado Springs Respect Life Apostolate and Project Rachel ministry will host the National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children on Sept. 14 at Divine Redeemer Parish.

COLORADO SPRINGS. Lay people who feel called to a deeper life of prayer are invited to learn about the Lay Carmelites at one of their upcoming informational meetings.

COLORADO SPRINGS. The monthly Rosary Walk for Life will take place Sept. 24 after the 8:30 a.m. Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Colorado Springs. Instead of the usual rosary walk, participants will walk the outdoor Stations of the Cross.

COLORADO SPRINGS. St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish will host an Interactive Creativity Presentation on Sept. 27 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Participants will express their faith through singing, drawing, story writing, poetry writing, prayer quotes and coloring. WOODLAND PARK. Our Lady of the Woods Parish in Woodland Park will offer an introductory Spanish class on Wednesdays from 1-3 p.m. in the administrative building, 216 S.
