Pope Francis proclaims "Year of St. Joseph"
December 8, 2020 - December 8, 2021
With the Apostolic Letter “Patris corde” (“With a Father’s Heart”), Pope Francis recalls the 150th anniversary of the declaration of Saint Joseph as Patron of the Universal Church. To mark the occasion, the Holy Father has proclaimed a “Year of Saint Joseph” Vatican News
A special year to bear witness to family love: “Amoris Laetitia Family”:
Fall in love with the family, like St. Joseph
On March 19 2021 Pope Francis will inaugurate the Year "Amoris Laetitia Family."
Which will conclude on June 26, 2022 on the occasion of the X World Meeting of Families in Rome.
- The first objective is to share the content of the exhortation "Amoris Laetitia" more widely.
- The second objective is to announce the precious value of the Holy Sacrament of Matrimony, which has “in itself a transforming power of human love.”
