Our Lady of the Woods to host Spanish class

WOODLAND PARK. Our Lady of the Woods Parish in Woodland Park will offer an introductory Spanish class on Wednesdays from 1-3 p.m. in the administrative building, 216 S. West St., beginning Sept. 18. The class is taught by Richard Molter, a retired high school Spanish teacher, and is designed to help people in any ministry who interact with Spanish speakers. For more information, send an email to karlcherie@msn.com.

Catholic Daughters to hold information meeting

SECURITY. All women age 18 and up are invited to learn about the Catholic Daughters of the Americas during a potluck luncheon on Oct. 5 at 11 a.m. at St. Dominic Parish in Security. Participants will learn how the Catholic Daughters serve the church and community. Lunch will be provided for all guests.
