HAYS, Kansas. Capuchin Father Gilmary Tallman, one of the first priests on staff at The Catholic Center at The Citadel, died Aug. 14 in Hays, Kansas. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Aug. 19 at the Basilica of St. Fidelis in Victoria, Kansas, followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Hays.

COLORADO SPRINGS. Gerald “Jerry” Weiss, a longtime parish and diocesan volunteer, died Aug. 14 at age 98. Mass of Christian Burial was held Aug. 28 at Corpus Christi Church.

COLORADO SPRINGS. Sister Jeannette Marie Weber, OSF, died July 26 at age 77.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Aug. 5 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, followed by burial in Mount St. Francis Cemetery.

COLORADO SPRINGS. Celestino “Tino” Archuleta, who served on the first board of directors of Colorado Springs Catholic Social Services, died April 11 at age 92. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated April 24 at Sacred Heart Parish in Colorado Springs, followed by burial at Caernero Creek Cemetery in La Garita.
