Diocese to participate in Consecration of the United States to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 12

In honor of the 250th anniversary of signing of the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Bishops will consecrate the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 12. Local dioceses have been invited to hold their own celebrations so that the faithful can give thanks for the blessings God has bestowed on our country and pray for an increase in truth, justice and charity in American life. In the Diocese of Colorado Springs, Mass will be celebrated on June 12 at 6:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Parish in Colorado Springs, 2030 W. Colorado Ave., 80904. Reception to follow.
