Diocese seeks applicants for permanent diaconate formation program
The Diocese of Colorado Springs is currently recruiting men to discern the permanent diaconate and apply to the formation program. Those who apply and are accepted will join a cohort that is scheduled to be ordained in 2031 after a four-and-a-half-year formation program. Information sessions will take place around the diocese during June:
- Thursday, June 4 — St. Joseph Parish in Salida, 6:30 p.m. (session will be held in parish office)
- Thursday, June 11 — Ave Maria Parish in Parker, 6:30 p.m. (session will be held in Brownstein Hall)
- Saturday, June 13 — St. Charles Borromeo in Stratton, 6:30 p.m. (session will be held in parish hall)
- Sunday, June 14 — St. Catherine of Siena in Burlington, 1:30 p.m. (session will be held in parish hall)
- Wednesday, June 17 — St. Peter in Monument, 6 p.m. (session will take place in Parish Ministry Center)
