2025 - Transitional Deacons and Priestly Ordinations
On May 24, Bishop James Golka ordained Dominic Ambuul, Yunior Gonzalez and Ian White as transitional deacons.
During the upcoming academic year, they will complete their fourth year of theology studies in preparation for their scheduled ordination to the priesthood on June 6, 2026.
On June 7, Bishop Golka ordained Christian Vaca to the priesthood. Father Vaca is a native of Guadalajara, Mexico, who completed his theology studies at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland. His first assignment will be as parochial vicar at St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish. (Photos by Matthew Staver)
