The Magificat Ministry is holding a “Come and See” brunch on Nov. 2 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Our Lady of the Pines Parish Life Center, 11020 Teachout Rd, Colorado Springs, 80908. The purpose of the ministry is to help Catholic women open more to the Holy Spirit through a deeper commitment of their lives to Jesus. The ministry holds gatherings several times a year that include a meal, communal priase, personal testimony and intercessory prayer. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Stanislaus Parish in Omaha, Nebraska, followed by burial at St. John’s Cemetery.
