COLORADO SPRINGS. A large butterfly sculpture will be dedicated to former Holy Trinity science teacher David Simpleman on Jan. 25 at 1:15 p.m. in the Corpus Christi School playground. Simpleman taught at Holy Trinity from 1980 to 2006, when the school closed. The sculpture was created by artist Erin Oesper-Nytes and is painted with symbols of science and nature. Attendees are invited to join students for Mass immediately following the dedication.
