Walk for Survivors set for August 7 at Mount St. Francis

COLORADO SPRINGS. The second annual Walk for Survivors to benefit survivors of human trafficking will take place Aug. 7 at 9 a.m. at Mount St. Francis, 2650 Parish View in Colorado Springs. Registration is available at

Proceeds from the event will benefit Bakhita Mountain Home, a residential community that offers a two-year restoration program for adult women who have been freed from human trafficking. The home is located in the Colorado Springs area at a confidential location. 

Bakhita Mountain Home Inc. is a 501c3 start-up that was incorporated in 2019. Board members are comprised of Christian, Jewish and other community leaders.
