COLORADO SPRINGS. The 2018 Rocky Mountain March for Life will take place Jan. 15, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, at the sidewalk near the Planned Parenthood facility located at 3480 Centennial Blvd. in Colorado Springs. The march, which is sponsored by St. Mary’s High School’s Students for Life group and the Diocese of Colorado Springs’ Respect Life Apostolate, commemorates the 45th anniversary of the Roe V. Wade Supreme Court ruling legalizing abortion. The event begins with prayer and speakers from 9-10 a.m., followed by a balloon release and line-up for the march from 10-10:30 a.m. A march to Corpus Christi Church will begin at 10:30 a.m., with shuttles available for those who are unable to march. At 11:30 a.m., Eucharistic adoration and the Divine Mercy Chaplet will begin, followed by Mass celebrated by Bishop Michael Sheridan at noon. After Mass, there will be a gathering with refreshments in the parish hall.
