MONUMENT. A new film detailing a local woman’s journey to being consecrated as a virgin living in the world is now available on Apple TV. “Song of Songs: The Journey of a Consecrated Virgin” chronicles the life of St. Peter parishioner Tara Stone, highlighting the defining moments of her childhood, teenage years and young adulthood as she discerns her vocation.

CASTLE ROCK. Knights of Columbus Council No. 8909 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Castle Rock is offering copies of “A Knight’s Rosary” at a cost of $4 each, which covers shipping and handling.  In the 1990s, the Knights sent out nearly 10,000 of these books, and they received well over 100 letters calling it people’s favorite rosary book.

COLORADO SPRINGS. The Community of the Teresian Carmel and the Little Way Secular Discalced Carmelites are accepting aspirants during the Feb. 22 meeting at Holy Apostles Church. Aspirants will journey one year to discern whether they have a vocation in Carmelite spirituality. Deadline to apply is Feb. 18. In celebration of the Feast of Blessed Michael Sopocko, Divine Mercy of the Rockies will host a Mass and Holy Hour at St. Patrick Church on Feb. 15 at 8 a.m. A continental breakfast will be served following the holy hour. Afterwards, an “All Hands” meeting will take place where participants will receive updates on Divine Mercy initiatives in the diocese. DENVER. “Every Life if a Gift” was the theme for the 2020 Celebrate Life Rally and March in Denver on Jan. 11. The Respect Life Apostolate for the Diocese of Colorado Springs chartered a bus and took 51 devoted pro-life warriors from around our diocese and Pueblo to celebrate the gift of life.

What began as simply providing financial support quickly turned into taking some of their online evangelization courses, which soon led him to find out what it would take to become a team leader for Colorado Springs.

Author and social media influencer Father Mike Schmitz will be the keynote speaker at the Inferno Men’s Conference on Nov. 9 at 9 a.m. at the Antlers Hotel Summit Ballroom in downtown Colorado Springs.
