SECURITY. Father Terrence Gordon, a member of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter who served as parochial vicar at Immaculate Conception Parish in Security, died April 28 of an apparent heart attack. 

COLORADO SPRINGS. Joy was the central theme for this year’s spring theater production at St. Mary’s High School.

The committed group of student actors and crew chose a multidiscipline variety show for their spring production after last fall’s highly successful run of the comedy mystery “Murder at the Art Show.”

Bishop Golka's Reflection on the Fourth Sunday of Easter

COLORADO SPRINGS. In the 1970s, St. Mary’s High School had not yet celebrated its 100th birthday. Harkening back to that more youthful time, the school hosted a ’70s-style “Disco Fever” gala April 15.

COLORADO SPRINGS. A new work of art was installed at Marian House and blessed by Bishop James Golka on April 6, Holy Thursday.

The newly-added art is a 7-foot by 4-foot depiction of “The Last Supper” painted by local artist Mary McLean.
