Some people may wish to “donate their body to science” after they die. Such a gift of themselves can be objectively good and praiseworthy provided that their body would contribute to meaningful research or study, and that it would not be used in a disrespectful or otherwise inappropriate manner.

The following statement was issued by the Colorado Catholic Conference, the legislative arm of Colorado’s four Catholic bishops, on April 25:

Amid celebrating the joy of Christ’s resurrection, we pause to remember the dark shadow cast over Colorado 50 years ago. April 25, 2017 marked the 50th anniversary of Colorado becoming the first state in the nation to legalize abortion.

Jubilant crowd gathers in Washington for annual March for Life
WASHINGTON.  Tens of thousands of pro-lifers filled the grounds near the Washington Monument and marched up Constitution Avenue to the U.S. Supreme Court Jan. 27 as both a protest of legalized abortion and a celebration of successful pro-life efforts across the country.
