First issue of new diocesan magazine will be published in September
By The Colorado Catholic Herald Staff
COLORADO SPRINGS. As announced in the June 20 issue of The Colorado Catholic Herald, the Diocese of Colorado Springs will cease publishing a newspaper with this issue. The first issue of the new diocesan magazine should appear in mailboxes in mid-September.
In the meantime, parishioners can stay up to date on news and events by subscribing to the weekly diocesan e-newsletter, e-Vangelize. Text “DIOCS” to 84576 to receive the newsletter on one’s smartphone, or visit dioceseofcoloradosprings.flocknote.com to sign up to receive the newsletter by email.
Mass times, an events calendar and links to Bishop James Golka’s weekly video reflections can also be found on the diocesan website at www.diocs.org.
The new diocesan magazine will be published six times a year and will be sent to all registered households.
“The magazine will feature a lot of the same local content that readers enjoy, but with a new look and more opportunities to showcase our diocese’s vibrant and growing faith through visual storytelling and high-quality photos,” said Veronica Ambuul.
