Unity Women: A New Catholic Movement for Women of All Ages

By Natalie Ingram

A new movement is stirring in the Diocese of Colorado Springs —and it’s for women.
Unity Women is a brand-new Catholic apostolate formed from a simple yet powerful desire: to create a space where women of all ages, vocations, and  backgrounds can grow in faith together. Whether you’re a teen, single, engaged, married, a mother, widowed, consecrated, religious, or a grandmother — you belong.

With the blessing and endorsement of Bishop James Golka, Unity Women is launching its first diocesan-wide event: the Belong Conference, taking place on Oct. 18, 2025 at the Antlers Hotel in Colorado Springs.

What is Unity Women?
At its core, Unity Women is a multigenerational Catholic community built on four promises: excitement, connection, friendship, and purpose. We aim to support each other as sisters in our shared faith and journey toward heaven. Unity Women connects existing ministries and individuals across all 40 parishes, providing a digital hub and four annual diocese-wide events for deeper engagement. We believe in fostering authentic friendships through small groups and shared experiences. And we want women to experience what living out a Catholic vocation looks like at every stage of life. Best of all, membership is completely free. Unity Women simply wants to support and connect what God is already doing in the hearts of his daughters.

What can I expect at the Belong Conference?
This one-day event promises to be a spirit-filled experience of worship, teaching, healing, and connection. You’ll hear from nationally recognized Catholic speakers Sarah Swafford and Cameron Fradd, enjoy live music with Susan DeSimone, and celebrate Holy Mass with Father Kyle Ingels. The day also includes confession, adoration, a special vocations panel, breakout sessions for teens, shopping, and —most importantly — the joy of being surrounded by hundreds of Catholic women in a shared space of faith and belonging.

This is more than a conference — it’s a movement. Rooted in the gospel message of John 17 and inspired by Pope Leo XIV’s motto, “In the One, we are one,” our mission is to walk from sisterhood to sainthood — together.

Join us in this mission by purchasing tickets to the Belong conference. The first 200 tickets sold will receive early-bird pricing. You can also volunteer to help or become a parish ambassador. And most importantly, spread the word. Invite a friend, share it in your parish, or forward this article to someone who needs to know that she belongs.
We can’t wait to meet you at Belong. For more information and to purchase tickets for the conference, visit unitywomen.org.
