Catholic Daughters of the Americas elect new state officers
GRAND JUNCTION. Catholic Daughters of the Americas held its biennial Colorado state convention June 9-11 in Grand Junction. Eleven of the 13 state courts were represented, with a total of 75 participants.
During the convention, new state officers were elected. Barb Ward of Longmont was elected State Regent; Rachel Brown of Alamosa was elected First Vice State Regent; and Irene Demers of Woodland Park was named State Treasurer.
The Catholic Daughters of the Americas is a national organization for all Catholic women sharing Catholic values and striving to make the world a better place to live, practice the faith, and follow the organization’s motto of Unity and Charity.
