COLORADO SPRINGS. A Public Square Rosary Crusade will take place in cities around the country on Oct. 16. Each year, the crusades take place on the Saturday closest to Oct. 13, the anniversary of the final apparition of Mary at Fatima. 

In Colorado Springs, the rosary will be recited at Corpus Christi Church after the noon Mass on Oct. 16. For more information, contact Marge Knight at 719-634-6294.

COLORADO SPRINGS. As it has every year since 2014, the Military Outreach Ministry provided Thanksgiving meals and Christmas gifts to the families of  military personal and wounded veterans who are in need. This year, though, the project took an interesting turn due to the challenges of the pandemic.  As we all had to adapt to the challenges of COVID-19 this past holiday season, the support of the Catholic faithful in our diocese in assisting our military and veterans within the Diocese of Colorado Springs remained unwavering.

COLORADO SPRINGS. With new cases of coronavirus on the rise in Colorado, it could be another six months before long-term care facilities — including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, senior residences and rehabilitation centers — will be open to outside visitors. When that does finally happen, however, the Diocese of Colorado Springs will have a plan in place to better reach Catholics who are unable to regularly attend Mass.
