Fiat Family Fest: A Catholic family weekend like no other

COLORADO SPRINGS. Seeing a need when they moved to Colorado Springs 14 years ago, Sean and Jenny Vostatek founded Joyfully Catholic, a ministry to strengthen Catholic marriages and families.  One of Joyfully Catholic’s largest initiatives is Fiat Family Fest, a Catholic family camp held each Labor Day weekend at the Ponderosa Retreat and Conference Center in Larkspur. This summer, Fiat Family Fest will be held Sept. 1-3, with around 350 retreatants expected to attend. 

St. Patrick Parish to hold continuous adoration June 4-10

COLORADO SPRINGS. St. Patrick Parish will continuously adore the Blessed Sacrament in Our Lady of Knock Chapel after the 11:30 a.m. Mass on June 4 through June 10 at 4 p.m. This extended period of adoration will be in honor of the Feast of Corpus Christi on June 11 and to highlight the start of the second year of our nation’s Eucharistic Revival — which will be focused on the parish level. 

Local St. Vincent de Paul society receives grant for rent and utility assistance

COLORADO SPRINGS. The St. Vincent de Paul Society of Holy Apostles Parish received a grant of $4,000 to provide rental and utilities assistance to people in need.
The grant was awarded by the Mountain View Round Up Fund, a community outreach of Mountain View Electric Association (MVEA).
